The Picnic: Paul and Patty Larsen have once again invited us to their lovely home for a potluck picnic immediately following this Sunday’s dance! The Larsens will provide hamburgers, Yvonne will provide tempeh for grilling, and SCDS will provide the condiments and plates/utensils. Please bring any kind of side dish (appetizer, salad, fruit, dessert, etc.) of your choice, PLUS whatever you want to drink. And don’t forget your swim suit and towel so you can enjoy their pool!

The Dance:  Caller Alan Winston brings a program that complements the melodious harmonies of our own Quite Carried Away. If you are bringing, or know of any, first-timers, please urge them to come at 2:30 for the Introductory Workshop that precedes the dance. All dancers are welcome at the workshop, while first-time attendees receive a coupon for half-off admission at their next dance!

Bring a snack to share at the dance, and then bring your potluck item to the picnic immediately following the dance! Directions/map to the picnic will be provided at the dance.

Upcoming Events:
August 13: contra dance
August 27: special contra dance – Community Band Night
