“I love contra dance because I love the music and dancing, and it is my community.”
Big Day of Giving, May 2
The votes are in! Starting in April, our contra dances will be held an hour earlier, from 7-10 pm, with a beginners’ lesson at 6:30. Please note that this dance will be held at the current time of 8-11 pm.
At this special zesty contra, dances will be taught quickly. There will be no newcomer’s orientation before the dance. Dancers should be familiar with moves like hey for four, Petronella turns, and contra corners. This is an evening for experienced dancers who want to dance with enthusiasm!
