Special Music:  We are honored to have Charlie Hancock on keyboard and Maggie Moore on violin for this special dance.

Special Price, Time, and Location:  Special program admission is $12.  The dance runs from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.  We will begin dancing promptly at 2:30 p.m.–please plan to arrive a few minutes early to change shoes and check in so that we can start the program on time!

Lise returns this Sunday, March 6, to lead us in another smile-filled afternoon of English Country Dancing! Since she is this year’s caller for the BACDS Playford Ball, it’s a good guess that Lise will bring us some of the dances from the Ball program, along with other gems. Our very own “Quite Carried Away” will provide live music for our dancing pleasure.

Yes, this is Super Bowl Sunday. Wouldn’t you rather be dancing? Alisa will feature a couple of the fun dances that Kalia Kliban introduced to our group at the December Holiday Tea.

Beginning this Sunday, we’ll be offering a short caller coaching session with our visiting experienced caller. Anyone interested may attend. The caller will share information on one aspect of calling, followed by time for questions. Join the caller immediately after the final waltz.

One of our dancers has offered to prepare a new edition of our dancer roster. Any dancer who wishes to be listed in the roster may fill out a form at the welcome table. Participation is optional, but provides an opportunity to share your location and/or contact information with other dancers to facilitate carpooling and other connections.

As usual, beginners are welcome and no partners are necessary.  If you are bringing, or know of any, first-timers, please urge them to come at 2:30 for the Introductory Workshop that precedes the dance.  All dancers are welcome at the workshop, but first-time attendees receive a coupon for half-off admission at their next dance!
